Assistant Controller

About The Position
As a Controller, you will join our growing Accounting Team and help support our global expansion. You will assist the Global Controller in developing and implementing controls, processes, and tools. You will enable operational efficiency by leveraging your love for numbers and the story that they tell.
A Day In Your Life
- Monthly Close Process: Oversee the monthly closing process, including the preparation and review of general ledger reconciliations, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and investor reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and consultants during the annual audit and address ongoing accounting and compliance issues.
- Tax & Transfer Pricing: Prepare transfer pricing calculations and manage tax return processes for the Israeli entity.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient financial processes that enhance team productivity and service quality for stakeholders.
- Accounts Payable Support: Provide oversight and support to the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Equity Management: Manage company equity, including cap table maintenance, stock-based expense calculations, and analysis of accounting impacts for unique cases.
- System Implementation: Participate in the implementation of finance-related systems to improve data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Special Projects: Support various accounting and finance projects as needed.
What You Bring
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Big 4 experience –required.
- 1+ years of experience in a global startup environment, with proven adaptability to fast-paced and scaling companies- is a plus.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office with strong skills in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
